Notice to all patients:
We now use the Patient Access system for ordering repeat medication online.
Please note that the system has now been updated to allow proxy access to allow the ordering of another patient's medication on their behalf. Please ask at Reception if this may be useful for you (if you are a parent / guardian or carer) and they will give you a copy of the paperwork required.
Please note that you may have previously been able to request acute prescriptions which do not now show on the Patient Access system. Due to NHS regulations patients can only request Repeat Prescription medication online and acute medication needs to be requested via your GP. If you cannot see all the previous medication you received on the Patient Access system please call the Surgery reception after 11am and they will send a task to your GP for them to review your request.
If you experience problems with this service please contact the surgery receptionists.
If your doctor considers it appropriate you will be issued with a repeat prescription form.
Please leave the completed form in the red box in the surgery lobby if repeat medication is required. It will be emptied regularly from 10.00 am.
At Wadhurst and Ticehurst the prescription will automatically be sent to the local pharmacy for collection, unless you request otherwise.
Please allow 48 hours for this.
POD Service - Prescription Ordering Direct
We are now offering a new telephone prescription ordering service in conjunction with the CCG Medicines Management team, to order your repeat prescription over the telephone please contact 0808 1647678 or text for call back 07800 006401(state surgery name) Mon-Fri 8.00am - 4.00pm.
Please note this ordering service can be used for repeat medication only.
Your local pharmacy will usually provide an emergency service for repeat items if necessary. Please avoid using the NHS111 out of hours service for repeat prescriptions.
