Patients can use the online repeat prescription service "Patient Access", a website service provided by EMIS Web.

Please note for Parent's wishing to have their children's accounts linked to their account they will need to fill out the correct application form below for each child, once approved they will then be able to switch between their children's accounts and their own accounts.

Due to NHS regulations patients can only request Repeat Prescription medication online any acute medication needs to be requested via your GP. If you cannot see all the previous medication you received on the Patient Access system please call the Surgery reception after 11am and they will send a task to your GP for them to review your request.


If you are a new user of the Patient Access system when you receive a link from us by email or by post ensure you select the 1st Service Provider on list: Patient Access

When on the welcome page please select the “Register” option and when asked if you have received a letter click ‘Yes’. This will then open a screen for you to log in with the account security details sent to you. Please input your account linkage key (with no spaces between characters), ODS code and account ID. You do not need to enter your NHS number or CHI number. Press Next and follow further instructions.

3. Detailed Coded Records Access (DCRA) - View of detailed coded medical record.

In order to obtain Detailed Coded Record access, a Subject Access Request application must be completed.  Please refer to the Access to Medical Record link at the bottom of the homepage for further information. 

Please note if you are requesting to view the record via the Patient Access system, you must first be registered on the system, if you are not currently registered for Patient Access then please complete the appropriate online registration form together with providing the appropriate identification.
