NEW! COVID VACCINATIONS INVITATIONS

We are now inviting you for your vaccinations  -  do not contact us to request an appointment. We will contact you.

If you do not have a mobile number we will telephone you to book an appointment at Saxonbury House Surgery in Crowborough.

If you have a mobile number we will send you a text from the GPsurgery.

If you been sent a text to invite you for your COVID vaccination at Crowborough - please read the instructions below BEFORE you click on the link within your text to book and then follow the instructions.

We will never ask you for bank details/payments.

Venue and important Information:

 

  • Venue address: Saxonbury House Surgery, Croft Road, Crowborough, TN6 1DL
  • Do not book an appointment if you have had any other vaccination in the past 7 days
  • Do not book an appointment if you have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 28 days
  • Please DO NOT arrive early for your appointment, arrive at your given time or you may have to queue
  • Park in Waitrose Car Park (FREE)
  • Please DECLINE the appointment if you do not wish to be vaccinated, already been vaccinated or have booked elsewhere.
  • If for any reason you cannot attend the appointment, please contact us at Wadhurst Surgery – 01892 783888 so we can arrange an alternative appointment as and when one becomes available
  • Wear short sleeves so the vaccinators can access your arm easily
  • Be prepared to provide emergency contact details should you be asked

Face Coverings

Please note face coverings are now mandatory when attending an appointment at either of our Surgeries.  We would be grateful if patients could supply their own face covering in order to preserve our vital PPE stocks.

 

Birth Registration Process

In light of parts of East Sussex being put into Tier 4 restrictions yesterday (20 December) and the need for us to be ready to meet the challenge of any possible increase in deaths in the coming weeks, we have had to temporarily withdraw birth registration appointments at the current time.

 

Online Patient Services - We have online patient services via the Patient Access system for: Repeat Prescriptions, Appointment Booking and Patient Records

Repeat Prescription Telephone Ordering Service

We are now offering a new telephone prescription ordering service in conjunction with the CCG Medicines Management team, to order your repeat prescription over the telephone please contact 0808 1647678 Mon-Fri 8.00am - 4.00pm.

Please note this ordering service can be used for repeat medication only.

Text Messaging Service – We now offer a text messaging appointment reminder service. There is also the ability for you to cancel your appointment via text message. Look out for the prompts within your reminders. We hope that this service will not only help patients but it will also reduce non-attenders and free up more appointments.Please ensure we have your up to date mobile telephone number on record.

Communication with our Patients - Please let us know if you:Need information in a large print, easy read format or in braille

Need a British Sign Language/Sign Language or Foreign Language interpreter or Advocate during your appointments.

Please let us know if we can support you to lip-read or use a hearing aid or communication tool.

Please advise the Receptionist if you need information in a different format or communication support.
