Improved Access

We are now offering appointments from 6.30pm - 8.00pm one evening per week and 1 in 5 Saturday's we will offer a morning clinic.  We hope this will assist patients who are unable to access the Surgery during normal hours.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Peter Birtles joined us in January as a salaried GP.

Flu Jabs

We are still offering flu jabs for those who are over 65 or in an At Risk Group.  Contact us to book in.

Patient Participation Group

We are looking for patients who would be interested in contributing to the continuous improvement of services and quality of care. If you are interested, please ask reception for a form.

Online Service for Repeat Prescriptions

The service has moved to Patient Access via EMIS WEB for repeat prescribing. See Further Information Tab for more information about this service and other online services.

Patient Notice

Please avoid using the NHS111 out of hours service for repeat prescriptions.

Repeat Prescription Forms

Please leave completed forms in the black box in the surgery lobby. It will take 48 hours to allow us to process repeat prescriptions.

Travel Clinic

Unfortunately we are only able to offer a limited travel vaccine service at the surgery. This is only for those vaccines available through the NHS.  There are local travel clinics available who will be able to advise and help you with all your requirements for your travel abroad.

Sister Kemp is our Senior Lead Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.


We employ one nurse practitioner, Sister Tania Kemp.
We also employ two practice nurses, Sisters Julia Dann & Sally Gummer; whose duties include health screening clinics and advice, blood pressure checks, immunisations, blood tests, dressings and ear syringing.
We also employ 3 Health Care Assistants, Mrs. Kelly Taylor, Mrs. Jennie Sharman & Mrs. Katey McGahan who aid our nurses with a number of specialised tasks.

Specialises in diabetes, respiratory diseases, child immunisations and womens' health.
